It's me - 2 years too late!

Hello...world.

2 years later (and older) I return to my blog to find myself in a totally new situation, University.

Last time we met it was a buzz of going to that festival called Sonisphere, ahh yes...that was a long time ago now.

So here I am, 21 years old, slightly taller..longer hair but still the same old me, just with a different perspective on life. :)

And so you ask, what is to tell? Well I am here in my first semester of my first year at University and I am studying Television Production! I love the whole technical aspect (especially camera) of creating TV and thought hey, let's do a degree in London near Jamie (oh yes we are still together) and then share a flat with lots of random people and hopefully have an awesome time.

Well it is pretty damn awesome :)

I live in Harrow - it isn't the most glamorous of places but for North West London it ain't bad. My flatmates consist of all girls and are all from outside the U.K. I did have one guy from Southampton living with me but he moved out - shame  :(

Anyways, our flat is generally alright and I've made some nice friends on the course - a couple who are slightly bizarre ;) and leave notes under my door telling me they 'know my secret' but anyway that's a different story.

My room is on the small side but there's nothing to complain about, I have my own bathroom, high speed internet and a TV! Yes the TV student gets the TV with many green eyes of envy from my fellow TV students ;)

Generally it's been a great experience just having that independence I always craved. When I want food I get food and when I want my dinner at 9.30 at night, I can. It sounds sad but those little things are really cool.

I am rambling I know, it's been so long since I have written a blogpost....too long.

Another thing I want to talk about is that University has given me a fresh start - my social life is 100% better than it used to be at home and I have also taken the plunge in joining the musical theatre society where I have managed to get an ensemble part in the new production of the CopaCabana! Can't wait for that!. I have also joined the comedy society :)

I also think being at this University is amazing - it has brilliant facilities. Our TV studio is state of the art and the equipment is fab too. The library has everything I need and it's so modern too. Wow I should really write a promotional leaflet for this uni haha I love the place ;) *such a geek*

Anyways enough rambling about university...I have some other MAJOR news.

(there's me with my arm around both Sharon and Robert ;) )

My dream came true - I MET WITHIN TEMPTATION!!! After their Elements gig in Antwerp, Belgium on the 13th November 2012 - IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Absoloute dream come true, I was speechless and yes I have the photo to prove it ;)

Best thing of this year was meeting my favorite band of all time and the fact we were staying in the same hotel as them = win!

In other news : I now work for BBC Flog it! as a production steward! Yes I have BBC as an employer..........win! I just get to talk to people and watch the film crew all day, just awesome. I'm working for one in Oxford this Saturday (8am call time :( ) but apart from that, I can't wait! Woohoo!

It's been great to blog again, hopefully won't leave it 2 years until another blog post!

Signing off

Rachel.......x

If there was an award for the laziest blogger in the world , I believe I would have won every single year. I apologise to everyone that 2010 has offically been the laziest blogging year for me!! So much has happened ....but first I would like to wish everyone a (late)....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Hope you all got what you wanted, and a bit more on the side...chocolate I'm guessing.
It feels goo
d typing at the keyboard again, for blogging purposes. I have neglected this blog so bad...not one post since July, I mean I've aged another year since the last one...and started a media course at college...which is going well for once!

I am actually loving it It makes me laugh because the last time I blogged was in July and I talked about the excitement of going to Sonisphere and everything.
For a first festival experienc
e I couldnt have asked for a better one, it was seriously immense. This brings me to the story of Sonisphere...2010....(a blog within a blog) *drum roll please?* DADAADADADADADAAAAAAAA
SONISPHERE!!!
31st July - 1st August 2010

Thursday
After driving to Knebworth, hertforshire (130 miles away from where I live) we sat waiting to get in the queue for about 2 hours!! We had so much stuff xD Finally Nicky, Anna and Ashley came to help us carry our stuff and we pitched our tent underneath a lovely blow up doll named Ingrid next to the arena and inbetween the main two pathways (d'oh) Thanks Nicole ;)

Ingrid

Our tent, and the insane amount of stuff we brought with us xD Such as 2 water carriers and a crate of food lol!

After everyone settled in it was the start of a crazy night which ended up in 2 people throwing up after going on the waltzers ;) and getting completley pissed ;). No one slept that night xD

Friday
After a sleepless night and a breakfast of fried eggs and bacon we waited the whole day for one of my favourite bands Delain. Well done to them to kicking the whole thing off!

Later on we saw Alice Cooper, Europe (with everyone singing along to the Final Countdown) and various other bands.
We also completed the world record attempt of the most amount of people doing the time warp dance..it was very entertaining xD Dont know if we managed to achieve it or not haha!
Alice Cooper must have killed himself about 10 times during his perfomance xD

Alice rockin out ;)

Saturday
Saw the amazing Lacuna Coil and couldnt believe my luck when I actually MET THEM!!! OMG!!! I have never met a band before and to meet one of my favourite ones was legendary! I will never forget it, the whole band signed my bag too!

Cristina Scabbia was so friendly :)

After seeing Lacuna Coil, Good Charlotte, Iggy Pop, Apocalyptica and Corey Taylor we waited for the immense...RAMMSTEIN!

Pyro, glitter, confetti, fireworks, the keyboard crowd surfing in a boat, the Du Hast song sung by the audience rather than the singer just is what this gig was all about...I have never seen such an amazing live perfomance from a brilliant band! It was sweet and definetley the best thing of the whole festival!!!
Sunday

Now it was time for the raving times of Skindred, Pendulum and Iron Maiden!!!
An amazing day with the lengendary Iron Maiden to finish the festival off!!

Monday

I was very very very tired...and ill lol. I packed my car up with everyones stuff and did 2 runs to the train station and back. My car was so weighed down with stuff that it kept stalling...on roundabouts...oops. lol

I then had to drive the whooooooooooole way home on the M1 and flopped in the door as soon as I walked in xD Nicky and I thought my house was awesomely big and was rather different to being in a tent the past 4 days...and the pasta bake was the best food we'd eaten in days...mmm.

So that was sonisphere...and it was the highlight of my whole year! AND.........It didnt even rain! xD
& the loo's werent that bad xD ha!

Summer - December

I started an IT apprenticeship in September but absoloutley hated it. The whole thing was bitchy and they put you down at every given opportunity....I survived 2 days and quit.....then started college on the Monday xD Finally, Rachel decided to take the plunge and study Media..the one thing that I belong to do in life...its awesome. Have just completed 2 videos and hopefully will get a good mark. Nice people too :)...and I get Fridays off ;)

Christmas was good :) I got a new camera =D it's a sony cybershot and it's beautiful <3

Time to Sign off

Happy New Year Everyone!

Beware of Ducks.

The Ramblings...

They are out to get you.

This classic road warning sign can be found just around the corner from my house (technically you turn a corner, cross a park, do a left...) anyway. It's awesome.

It's awesome because it's warning road users of ducks, yes my friends..ducks. Not just any ducks...oh no...the 3 or maybe 4 ducks that live at the mere just down the road from this sign.
There are probably more, maybe swarms of ducks hiding in the bushes that we don't know about...or there were ...20 odd years ago when this sign was put up.

Can you imagine driving your car and then suddenly a load of angry ducks appearing from nowhere trying to cross the road? No I can't either...and in the 14 years of living in this quiet town I have never seen a duck attempt to cross the road....strange.

(Also notice the 2 "Mark Pritchard" signs above it, they are plaguing the lamposts everywhere at the moment!)

Anyway....these are the sort of things I will always remember about my town. Duck signs, meres, ducks, swans, grass ..etc. When I move to London I won't have any of those things...well I know there are some swans, ducks and a bit of grass xD haha.

This was a random post...as always. I just wanted to tell you all about the features of my little town...there are a few others I just don't have pictures for them..yet =P

The Latest.....

I keep trying for jobs and so far haven't managed to get one ...yet. I won't give up though..
Jamie's been up to stay a lot and we've seen each other loads recently which is great... :)

As for other things, not much happening really. Just attending interviews and things, signing on at my favourite place in the world...the job centre and seeing friends and stuff.

I'm sure I'll have something totally awesome to blog about besides road signs and I'm sure one will follow after my upcoming trip to York :)

Thats it for now....

:)

7th April 2010 - Our Anniversary

22nd February 2009

That is the date when I found Jamie Fawcett..a simple guy from London, who seemed to love Within Temptation as much as I do.

It was that evening around 11pm, that I was checking the WT website. News had been posted of Sharon giving birth to a baby boy, Robin.
I sent my congrats on the guestbook, and underneath my post was Jamie's. He had left his location as London, and also his email address.

I was in a random mood that night, call it fate but I added him to my msn...and that was the beginning of us.

We hit it off like a house on fire. He loved Within Temptation, Nightwish and loads of other bands that I love....he sent me a picture...and I fell in love.

He was shy at first, I told him about my love of WT and the time I flew out to Holland to see them live. We chatted until the early hours of the morning even though he had college at 9am, he stayed to talk to me.

I spent that time watching him on webcam, I was besotted. He had short blondey/brown hair, had a gorgeous smile, beautiful blue eyes, olive skin and a warm friendly face. I couldn't keep my eyes off him all night. I was in love.

Finally I let him go to sleep, but I couldn't sleep one wink. We talked the next day, and the day after, and the day after...and it carried on.

We liked each other from the start. He told me about London, his friends, what he did with his life..and I did the same.
From the start I knew he was something special, we had something here and I hadn't even met him yet.

It was a few weeks later that we became open and displayed our love for each other on facebook...only weeks after we had met. (sounds romantic I know) then on the 7th April 2009...I travelled 2 and a half hours on the train to London to meet him...a day I'll never forget.

We hit it off straight away. We shared the same love of films (back to the future, star wars, school of rock), we laughed at the same things, we took an interest in the things around us...we just...gelled. He took me around all the sights, and then came the chinese buffet.
I was terrible! I couldnt eat anything...he payed for it all...he was such a gentleman..yet I was too nervous to eat! I felt so awkward!

Then after the chinese, he took me to see Mall Cop :) We laughed at the same parts, I leant up to him...cuddled him. It felt like I had known him for years...I knew he was for me at that moment...I was so happy.

After he had walked my little feet off (and worn my feet down to blisters), he payed for us to go back to Euston and we said goodbye.

I've never cried so much on a train, I missed him...like hell.

After that I spent nearly every other weekend down in London, I met his family and friends...and we just shared this amazing love.

I've never felt so happy with a guy before, he made me feel on top of the world...and still does to this day. I was always so self concious about my body and never thought any guy could look past that. But Jamie did, and he always has loved me for who I am.

I love him so much words alone cannot describe it. We are soulmates and I know we are right for each other.

Sure we have had our ups and downs, but I cannot think of a person I would rather want to spend my life with.

So here's to you baby, we've made it to a year...and counting.

I loved you yesterday, I love you today, and I'll love you tomorrow.

Let's enjoy it.

The little sister

There's some people you'll never forget in your life, and that person in my life is Nicky from York

She lives about 200 miles from me, but we have spent some awesome times together including :
  • Spending time at gigs getting sweaty, thirsty and tired and generally having the time of our lives - We even travelled to Holland at 5am in the morning to see Within Temptation - we were shattered but it was totally worth it
  • Camping out in rural Yorkshire, complete with picnics next to waterfalls eating baked beans and hot dogs
  • Travelling up and down the country in cars just to see each other, thanks to parents who drove us at the time ;)
  • Watching movies, especially music dvd's and singing along (never caring if we sound like strangled cats) :P
  • Wandering around the city of York, millenium bridge and Rowntrees Park and having a laugh :P
  • Wearing hard hats and still looking fabulous.
Infact, this doesn't cover half of it :) Only Nicky knows and remembers the good times we have shared, and Im sorry sis for not seeing you for a whole year. But I will try my best to make it up to you and see 2010 as the year we meet again :)
.
Because Nicole Smith of York, England. You are Awesome! And yes darling, I will have a Heavy Metal Wedding ;) AND you will definetley be a bridesmaid ;)

Love you sis

Rach x

(P.S Im sorry this didn't match up to your blog haha)

A kiss with a fist is better than none

Florence and the Machine - Lungs

THANK YOU NICKY!

This album is well...awesome! I got it in the post today, a late christmas present from one of my best friends Nicky! :) Thank yooou!! :) It's great, I've waited to hear this album for so long and its totally worth it!

I haven't blogged for so long that it's probably considered illegal in the rules of Blogging Land.
I do apologise , but yet again my plate has been fulled to the brim ...my plate being my head in this instance.

I've been quite unhappy with the present situation : Boyfriend in London, Me in Shropshire, No job, No College to attend....because I know that my heart is in London and all my desires are to live and work there... thats why I've decided to apply to the Civil Service (taking after my parents) :O

What?!

Yes folks, you heard it first. I have sent off my application to London to become an "Administrative Officer" in the Home Office. I have the right qualifications and I believe the only way I will be happy is to apply for jobs down there and move in the near future.

Last week was Valentine's Day, Jamie treated me to a trip on the London Eye and he took me to Pizza Hut after where we had the Valentines Day Menu! (Including a heart shaped pizza!) aww! He bought me a beautiful heart pendant necklace , a rose and a lovely card...! It was like the most perfect day ever...I can't believe we have been going out for nearly a year now...it will be a year on the 7th April <3>
I wonder, I just wonder what will 2010 will bring me.....and flippin heck, I hope it's good!

We are fools :) <3>

Snow mania!

What has happened to Britain?

This picture says it all........

"Temperatures of -20 in some places of the UK tonight"
"Heavy snow forcast for all parts of the UK...up to 1ft!"

Is this the new ice age??

We've had a fair bit...and as I'm writing this its snowing heavily so we will have to wait and see what its like tomorrow morning! *Snowed Under!*

People are just going crazy...they are acting like its never happened before when it has plenty of times..even table salt and cat litter is being sprayed on the snow to stop it turning to ice...its sold out at most supermarkets...that cats wont have any left for them to use !! haha..

Im going to end this blog now

Happy 2010 btw to anyone who reads this :)......[I knows its late]

Ok my minds gone blank...

Feeling myself again

These past 5 or 6 days have been rubbish for me..because I've been ill.

Every symptom imaginable...well, just a sore throat, a fever, a high temperature, a bad stomach, a cough, the shakes and a swollen throat. Humph.

But today I wasted 45 minutes of my evening to sit around waiting for my doctor to move his arse so I could have my appointment. A 2 minute one in the end, how ridiculous. I could slap the NHS sometimes they really do have bad service..I dont even want to mention how long you have to wait at A+E in Telford!!

So after that pathetic doctors appointment I went to somerfield with mum and then took Hannahs present to her house. She wasn't in so we left it on the door handle praying it didn't get nicked...I got it in Camden after all..eep!

Im feeling a lot better today, I applied to Next to be a stockroom assistant. Its only temp but I need any money going at the moment.

I am supposed to be going to London this friday but my assessor is being silly and making me do my final assessment on Friday morning without checking with me first. I could just say Im ill again I suppose...I want to see Jamie!!

Apart from what I've already written there's not much else to report. Im quite excited to be starting Stafford College next September tho, I want to do a BTEC National in Media... like I always have wanted to. 2010 is the last chance to do it for free so I thought..why not? ;).

Not long to christmas...the shop windows are being transformed as we speak and each one Ive seen so far is really pretty =). Jamie's going to be here for New Years and its my Mums 50th Birthday so I need to get her something special and a very cool cake!! hehe.

I think Im getting back into the blogging word..only because Im unemployed and have FAR too much time on my hands. It's driving me insane not having a routine!! Hopefully I can get a job soon

-Rachel-

Its the London Eye ;)

Do the Shake n Vac

and put the freshness back!!

Haha, what a retro advert. Im watching the worlds greatest adverts or something, this happens to be one of them...as well as that quite raunchy flake advert of the 80's.

Anyway

Im ill. *applause* Ive done it again. Rachel is ill.

Im ALWAYS ill!!! This time ive got a bad stomach, pains everywhere, a swollen throat and other symptoms which may be because I have piggy flu but I dont think I do...well I might but I dont want to believe it =/

So I've been housebound for 3 days, doing nothing but sleeping and watching tv. The weathers been awful so I cant even sit outside, well not like I'd want to anyway its freezing. *sigh*

I really miss Jamie too, and I hope Im gonna be well enough to go on Friday cause we are all seeing New Moon =] Cant wait. We go to a big cinema in Islington....big prices too...£9 a ticket :o Such a rip off...and I bet you can guess the prices of the popcorn and drinks grrrr. So expensive!

Sam has been very kind and let me use his laptop for the past 2 days and im using it now, I dont fancy getting cold sitting at my computer. Im all tucked up warm in my bed =] Laptops are good for when your ill. I'd have one for the pure novelty if I was rich, hehe.

Apart from me being ill theres not much else to report. Dad got the christmas decorations down (nice and early) although they are all stuffed in boxes in my mums room for now until we put them up.

My new tv is awesome too! A man put a new digital aerial up on the roof and connected our tv's too it via a wire and now I have loads of decent channels..it rocks! I love having BBC three in here hehe.

Be signing off now

Over and Out

Wednesday, 4 November 2009

Its the early hours of the morning

of the fourth of November 2009...

Im sitting at my computer talking to one of my american cousins Heather, listening to some random tv programme but not watching it...and feeling wider awake than ever...I should be sleeping ! But as my recent bed time has been 4 in the morning then how am I supposed to feel tired now?
*sigh*

A lots happened lately, I quit my job because I couldnt face going back after the manager gave me a mouthful down the phone on how crap I was as an employee so I ended slamming the phone down shouting "fuck you bitch. Good times. Im a week away from completing my NVQ in Childcare and officially not earning any money whatsoever....yes Im in that dreaded state of unemployment and it aint pretty.

So...Im just doing nothing everyday...I hate it..no money coming in , nothing to do except get shouted at by my brother who is also unemployed and clean up for my mum, spend endless hours on facebook and watching movies.
The way I have to watch DVD's in my room is a little different from everyone else...well most people I know. I have my desk next to my bed, and my tv is tiny and doesnt come with a DVD player plugged in. The only option I have is to turn my computer monitor around so it faces my bed, move the speakers...keyboard..mouse etc and play my dvds through my computer. This seems to work well until..
1. The monitor automatically switches off after 30 minutes to conserve energy which involves my film being rudely interrupted and having to stumble out of my cosy bed to wiggle the mouse so it comes back to life.
2. The speakers fall down.
3. The pc jams etc

So I guess its not the best method..but its the only one I have right now until I can afford a tv...

The movies Ive been watching recentley include
Rachel getting married
Fame
Nick and Norahs infinite playlist
The boat that rocked
..and another one I cant remember the name of but will probably spring to mind at a later date...

So the job hunting goes on.
The other day I applied to B&Q and the application process was sooooooo tedious....I had to rate myself out of 1-5 from a variety of adjectives such as "generous, kind and sensitive" how stupid why do they need to know that..I havent heard a thing back from them either.
Im literally applying EVERYWHERE now....grr I hope I can get something =/

And also Ive decided I want to be a primary school teacher...seriously. I think its the right thing for me to do....Id be a professional and be on a good salary a year....and I love kids anyway. I would actually go to uni and do it too....but it means going back to some college (not shitty new college) and doing a BTEC or A-levels. Well I know that I hate the whole A-level world and Ive always loved Media so Ive applied to do a BTEC national diploma in Media Production at stafford college next year....its ages away yet so I need to earn some money in the mean time because Im always in London with my gorgeous boyfriend..

Speaking of London , Im going down this friday and staying until Tuesday to see my Jamie <3 It feels like a lifetime since I last saw him... we've been going through a rough patch lately but all is OK now... I love him so much :)

Its still before 4 in the morning and Im still not feeling like I wanna crash and go to sleep...argh my body clock is seriously messed up Im telling you. It feels like time is just passing me by here, I wanna do something with my life!!!

Tomorrow Im going into my mums school to sit in with the receptions for the afternoon, just so I can meet the kids I'll be working with next thursday for my final assessment. Then I'll be qualified and nvq 2 will be mine. Not like Im gonna do anything with it, after all that. *sigh* Unless I find an AWESOME job as a kids club leader or something...3 hours a day aha. Oh well It will come in handy if I wanna be a teacher!!

Miss Tomlinson

I can see it now :P

I'd get those kids in order

Hmm Still not feeling tired and its coming up to 3:45 in the morning......

Bonfire night on thursday, seems to be a popular date for peoples birthdays on facebook as I have a whole list of them on my homepage!!!

Signing off now, hopefully Heather singing lullabys and nice thoughts of Jamie will make me sleepy

Goodnight

Still Alive....

A whole summer has passed since I last bothered to write a blog post. What happened in that time? A lot... thats all I can say. I thought I'd post this blog as a sort of "Im-still-here-and-havent-abandoned-my-blog" thing. Yeah I guess it works. My life has changed dramatically over the course of this year. Take this year and 2008 into comparison and literally nothing is the same. I drive, I work part time at a nursery, I spend every other weekend in London, I have a boyfriend (7 months and counting), some of my thoughts/opinions have changed and Ive realised many things I didnt before.

I feel I have changed personally too, well first I have lost weight (thats cause J walks me round half of London) =P....and the desires in my life have changed too....I am more happy with what I have then I have ever been before. Ok I would love to live in London 24/7 with J, and I dont really like living where I do anymore but it could be worse. I know I will live there one day its my dream.

In about 10 days its my 18th birthday..[17th October]...Im going to see Phantom of the Opera with my family and Jamie, and then spending a whole week in London with J...seeing Tarja on the 19th and then celebrating Jamie's 19th birthday on the 22nd October. Can't wait to be with my gorgeous boyfriend for all that time <3 Its very rare to spend that amount of time together.

Im not going to lie and say I dont know why I havent blogged all summer its just simply cause I cant be bothered. End of I had a great summer , I went on holiday to cornwall and Jamie came too. It was lovely weather but I had to become ill with tonsilitus didn't I?! =( Sad times.

I'll post a few pics and then I'll be off

Nicky...looking at your blog inspired me to write this post

"About bloody time!"

Unfortunatley I have run out of effort to write anymore so I will end this "blog" now.

.....Life is Peachy

Im sitting in my pjamas and it's 3:19 am as I'm writing this. What made me do this is another story, but Ive suddenly started to feel wide awake....(talk about a night owl)

Life is peachy. <3

Jamie and I are awesome, Ive passed my driving test, my new job is pretty cool, Im earning money and I get to spend most weekends in London! (I wish it was every weekend) but yeah I am so happy right now.

This week has been so hot...in the late 20's! Even 30's!! Everyone has been going mad in the heat and its been so hot at work...the kids getting all frustrated and everything. Why they dont have fans is so stupid...its 28 degrees in those rooms...and we have to look after kids in that heat...something has to be done. I actually didnt like being in the baby room but now I love it 1. because they have an air con machine and 2. babies arent as much hassle as the pre schools. I love them all the same though :).

Ok...my blogging fuel has run out. It has a low capacity right now.

I suppose I'll write something on here at a later date..

And now Im closing the cyberspace door and landing my head on a pillow to dreamland

Ripping up those L Plates

Photobucket

Yeah that's right. Im back with GOOD NEWS!!

Today at precisely 2:10pm I recieved the news that I'd passed my driving test after what I thought had been a very good test. I had to do a parallel park, a reverse around a corner and an emergency stop. I passed with only 7 minors! Dead chuffed!!!

Then I drove myself home, and later on picked Sam up from the skatepark ON MY OWN!! And woah was it weird driving on my own..haha.

Im so so pleased. 8 months worth of lessons and hours of practice with dad and finally Im legally allowed 2 drive. SO HAPPY!...

Work is going well, today I had to look after babies for 3 hours in a 24 degree warm room and it was BOILINGGGGGGG! I survived somehow haha...

And now im eating cookies

And Im going to London on Friday to see my JAMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3>

Look at the ducks

I must have said that sentence about 10 times in the space of 10 minutes today.

We were on a 'sponsered walk' with nursery and the weather wasn't exactly on our side ... it was chucking it down and all I had was my hoodie. I also had one 2 year old boy on one hand and one 2 year old girl on my other hand trying to keep them from running off/falling into the murky water.

I never got sponsered =( Meh.

So yeah I pointed out the ducks to them and they were getting all excited about them and then the fish too..oh the fish.. lol.

After walking back around the park and back to nursery we got back in and everyone was soaking wet, and then we started singing songs. By "we" I mean literally everyone in the nursery...the entire staff and kids lol We had just started to sing "When goldilocks went to the house of the bears" when the manager came in dressed up as a bear - It was a mixed reaction - half the kids we're in tears and half were running up to her and cuddling her.

After drawing letters on card and being extremley bored as I wasn't with the older kids , my boss let me go home at half 1 and I went home and ate a pizza...it was yummy.

I'm absoloutley shattered and all I can think about is Friday...I need to be with Jamie so bad it hurts....I'm going for 4 days it's going to be awesome :) Can't wait.

[OH YEAH! Do you like my new blog layout? I fancied a change...the chocolatey browness of my previous blog started to make me feel a bit sick...so I decided to go for something completley different...still following the heart theme cause my blog will always be called "The Heart of Everything"....so yeah I hope you like it cause I do]

Rain is a good thing

Fix You - Coldplay.

I love this song...thank you HMV for letting me buy this album at only £4 .

<3 It's one of those inspirational songs that you can just listen to time after time :).

Yeah I'm in a happy mood, even if it rained today...I sat in up in my bed and just watched the rain flow down off the rooftops and into the gutters in the street. I had Jamie on my mind..(not like thats a difference...he's always on my mind). Im going to be so happy once I get off that train at about 6pm this Friday night..into his arms and staying there until Tuesday night ^_^.

Today has been uber lazy...I got up at about half past two...listened to the rain...talked with mum and watched eurovision song videos from last night...jumped in the shower...and now Im just wiping every possible thing off David's computer and listening to Coldplay's album "X&Y". I love it.

The rain has finally stopped, it was a good release actually..I think the clouds were fit to burst and then the heavens opened...soaking everything. I love it when it rains after a very long period of sunny weather..yeah Im mad but it just gives you a reason to stay in and think. And just as Im writing this the sun is peeping through the clouds =P

I'm just so happy now I really am, I couldnt describe how happy I feel. I'd be happier if I was with Jamie but knowing that he loves me so much and that I love him so much just makes me soooo happy =)...

Did I just write a blog? I should be proud of myself...blog posts dont really appear on here anymore..too much on my mind ;)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadios

Is that? No..it can't be!

A BLOG POST?!

I know what your thinking. Here she comes..strolling in after weeks of not one blog....not one glimmer of light shining from the realms of the blogging world and she finally turns up on the 14th May...

Well I'm here so get used to it. Well..I might be out the cyberspace door and walking up the street to the real world any minute now..but...let's just give it a shot.

Basically I have been busy. No lies. No dishonesty. I have.
Basically #2. I cannot be arsed to write blogs anymore.

1. Because I have a boyfriend
Yep..we've been together nearly 3 months and most of my weekends/days have been spent with/talking to Jamie and everything to do with him so...blog's on the internet aren't exactly on the top of my important list right now.
2. I'm lazy.
3. I've been working at nursery which is tiring.
4. Most of my time on the computer is spent doing other things than blogging...like talking to Jamie.

I cant help it...I'm in love and its amazing and the world is beautiful again and things are amazing...and he's amazing and yeah I wont go soppy but yeah we are very happy.

Work is good....I don't get paid and I only do two days a week..but oh well. There's a new girl I met yesterday from Vienna in Austria. She doesn't know much english but that doesnt matter, shes a nice person. Im the only one that makes an effort to talk to her...and I gave her my email address today so we could keep in contact when she gets back to Austria. Oh she's called Lisa =).

Im going to London next weekend for 4 days and cannot wait....=) I get to see my Jamie..

I have also been watching/obsessing over The Mighty Boosh. I cant stop quoting the moon/Old Gregg and Tony harrison makes me laugh =). I bought series 3 yesterday..

That's all I can be bothered to write...I give up easily I know but blogging is such an effort..

And no I wont keep you posted....

(Ok that was harsh...)

(I'll try my best)
